Registered Nurse
A Registered Nurse is a professional member of the health care team who provides skilled nursing care to clients under an established Physician Plan of Treatment, in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, and adheres to the policies and procedures of this agency. This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor. In an institutional setting this person reports to the designated person. Persons interested in applying for a Registered Nurse position must:
- Possess a valid current nursing license under the State Board of Nursing in the state he or she is working.
- Have a minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting.
- Possess and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Be of mature and responsible character.
- Possess current knowledge of the disease process; emergency interventions and health care measures pertinent for each individual client.
- Possess good observational nursing judgment and effective communication skills.
- Be of good physical and mental health.
- Complete this agency employment process.
- Have available reliable transportation to and from assignments, active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Certified Home Health Aide
A Certified Home Health Aide is a non—licensed member of the home health care team who assists the client with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan that is established by a Registered Nurse and is kept in the client's home. Certified Home Health Aides are supervised by a Registered Nurse every two weeks at this agency and receive scheduling direction from the agency staffing Coordinator. Persons interested in applying for a Certified Home Health Aide position must:
- Have a minimum of one year of personal care experience which is verifiable through references.
- Be a High School graduate and at least 18 years of age.
- Be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Have satisfactorily completed the State Red Cross Home Care Course or an equivalent program.
- Exhibit mature responsible behavior, and understand the need for patient confidentiality.
- Be able to read, write and speak English.
- Be able to follow direction and accurately report to the RN Supervisor any changes in client's condition.
- Have available reliable transportation to and from assignments, active drivers license and proof of auto insurance.
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.10.
- Must be CPR certified.
Homemaker
A Homemaker is a non—licensed member of the home health care team who assists the client with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan that is established by a Registered Nurse Supervisor or Field Nurse RN and is kept in the client's home. Homemaker is supervised by a Registered Nurse monthly at this agency and receives scheduling direction from the agency staffing Coordinator. Persons interested in applying for a Homemaker position must:
- Have a minimum of one year of work experience which is verifiable through references, and must complete the agency’s employment process.
- Be at least 18 years of age and a High School graduate.
- Be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Exhibit mature, responsible behavior, and understand the need for patient confidentiality.
- Be able to read, write, understand and speak English.
- Be able to follow direction and accurately report to the RN Supervisor any change in client’s condition.
- Have available reliable transportation to and from assignments, active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Be CPR certified.
